My family has been going to Disneyland every year since I was about 11 years old. We were definitely always a “vacation” family but once we caught the Disney bug I can only remember going on about 5 other vacations my whole life aside from Disneyland and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Once I got married, my hubs didn’t quite get the whole Disneyland obsession, until we went for the first time and then…just like any good bug, he caught it and the obsession began with him too! We took Evie for the first time a few weeks ago and I can’t wait to share with you my best tips on doing Disneyland on a BUDGET and with a BABY! Those posts will be coming throughout the week, but for now here are my very favorite Disney apparel and accessories that you can find for dirt cheap on Amazon!
See! Evie can’t even believe how cheap these items are 🙂
I first started looking on Amazon for Disney accessories about two years ago when my hubs and I were preparing for our yearly trip and I really wanted to wear some Minnie ears. I knew that ears in Disneyland were $30-$50 and I just didn’t want to spend $100 on some ears for us both to wear! I couldn’t believe that I found two pairs of ears for $12 (click here for the link to those) on Amazon…and from that point forward I only get my Disney items from there.
Items For Your Minnie:
Baby Minnie Ears and Tutu Set – This is what Evie wore on her first day in Disneyland. You can see her in in above. It was absolutely ADORABLE! I just noticed that this is currently out of stock. It should be in sock soon but just in case its not, here’s a similar one.
*Similar Baby Minnie Ears and Tutu Set
Baby Minnie and Mickey Ear Set– this also works for adults, these are what my hubs and I wore this last time we were there!
Disney Birthday Outfit– If you are celebrating your little girls birthday in the park, this is PERFECT! Disneyland also gives you a special pin if it’s your birthday while you’re there.
Minnie Baby Girl Rompers– these are so cute and comfy for your babe!
Minnie Mouse Hoodie– it’s always, always, always good to have a hoodie or jacket of some kind in Disneyland, even in the summer! The nights get chilly, especially if you have been riding any of the wet rides (Splash Mountain, Grizzly Rapids, etc) or you are planning to attend World Of Color.
Light Up Mouse Ears– if you want some fancier mouse ears!
Minnie Drawstring Bag– these bags are lifesavers in the park!
Minnie Coin Purse– This is absolutely perfect for your little ones to hold any sort of ID or important information just in case they get lost. It has a lanyard on it so you can put it around their neck. This is one of those lifesaving accessories!
Minnie Autograph Book– in the park these autograph books are $20. You can find it here for $6. You’re welcome :).
Items For Your Mickey:
Items for You:
Because wearing Mickey/Minnie ears and a Disney shirt makes you the coolest parent ever. Who doesn’t want to be the coolest parent ever?
Disney Drawstring Bag– these bags are fantastic to have in the park, I make everyone carry one. You can see why I do that in my other Disney post later this week :).
Mickey Cell Phone Case/Coin Purse – these are one of my best kept secrets! I carry these around with only one or two credit/debit cards, my ID, and my cell phone. That way when I have to leave my stroller and/or purse outside to go on a ride, I only have to take this case in with me and not worry about my pure being let outside. It also has a lanyard so I can just put it around my neck!
Womens Keds– my go to shoes for Disneyland, especially with all the walking (TONS AND TONS OF WALKING)! They are comfy and cute.
Womens comfy, durable, and 100% opaque black leggings– my go to leggings, I own 4 pairs, no joke and wearing these in Disneyland is a dream come true.
You can see me wearing my go to shoes and leggings here!
